lyrics
Once I could still sing for you, but that was a long time ago.
I’ve bitten my lip, I’ve been drudged apart.
Every time you closed your gaze it carved me deeper.
For all of these years; growing tired, the crying and grinding pieces to fit.
Please stop to search behind this neck to (find things to) fit into your realm. I tried everything - I think...
I'm grinding the pieces to fit. I'm grinding my pieces to fit.
I feel the abyss. Please could you stop digging this ditch of “whose fault is it”?
I know I might've kept you there, failing to read between the lines.
But promises will finally brake- like chains.
Until I have a new tongue for you to hear loudly.
Millions and millions of pieces later, when time
has rinsed me long enough from your filthy mouth of ruins...
Once I could still sing for you, but that was a long time ago.

You know that point where you have consumed perhaps just a little too much of your chosen intoxicate. That's this album.

I love the light and shade between Bryan's dirty and Emma's forlorn vocals. There are so many layers to this recording that are driven home through contrast. Plus the riffs are brilliant and get me moving. I can't stop listening to Thou and Emma in general lately. spaceman2250

Thank you Chepe Kun for drawing my attention to this German atmospheric black metal/ambient done right! Pleasant, slow, a bit monochromatic, but with mesmerizing melodies from the underground! sachavonkarl74
